Raising Awareness on Net-Zero in Nigeria — mobilizing young people, women, and local leaders to advocate for net-zero policies through town halls, media outreach, and community campaigns across all six geopolitical zones.
The RANTZ Project links climate action to everyday issues such as health, livelihoods, and food security, inspiring collective ownership of Nigeria's climate future. By demystifying technical net-zero concepts, we enable communities to see themselves as central players in the transition.
Through town halls, media training, and IEC materials, we are changing attitudes, building public support, and fostering accountability from decision-makers.
At the International Climate Change Development Initiative (ICCDI-Africa), we are building a climate-smart generation by identifying local realities, engaging stakeholders, and co-developing sustainable solutions to secure Africa’s future.
