WHO WE ARE ICCDI Africa is not your typical NGO. Born in 2013 as a digital movement, we have evolved into an expertly staffed institution. We are a team of young professionals—scientists, lawyers, and creatives—who have spent extensive time in the fields of sustainable development. We are dedicated to creating, facilitating, and managing youth-oriented projects that deliver verifiable results.

OUR EVOLUTION International Climate Change Development Initiative (ICCDI) started as the first-ever weekly Twitter conversation on climate change in Sub-Saharan Africa. Today, we are a leading voice on the continent. We focus on thematic areas including Disaster Risk Reduction, Biodiversity Conservation, and Renewable Energy. As a non-political and non-religious body, our only allegiance is to the sustainable development of Africa.
